"she carry"

В тестовом наборе встретилось такое “who does Arthur suggest she carry ?”
Language is full of ambiguity. The same sentence can have many possible, valid parses. Given the right context, both sentences can be correct.
a) When "suggest" means "propose" or "recommend", American English tends to use the subjunctive and say
Who does Arthur suggest she carry ?
while British English would say
Who does Arthur suggest she should carry ?
Using the indicative
Who does Arthur suggest she carries ?
isn't wrong either, just less common.
b) When "suggest" means "imply", only the indicative form is used:
Who does Arthur suggest she carries ?
